which satisfyer is best? satisfyer comparison & guide

A while ago, we reviewed the Satisfyer Pro 2, and we absolutely loved it and had no hesitation in recommending it to all and sundry. The company behind that toy has now released 4 new Satisfyer models, bringing your choices to 5 Satisfyers.  But, which Satisfyer is best?  In the words of a certain bald, oversize-collared comedian, there’s only one way to find out

Which satisfyer is best – the contenders.

Allow me to introduce the full range.  The Satisfyer 1, Satisfyer 2, Satisfyer Pro2, Satisfyer Pro Penguin and Satisfyer Pro Deluxe.  They are all different but all strangely the same.

If I start with the Satisfyer 1, since that is first numerically.  The 1 is the most like the womanizer, but without the vulgarity, being purple and plain.  It is powered by two AAA batteries which you fit under the twist-off bottom.  It definitely feels like the cheapest of the bunch, with joins in the plastic that don’t quite sit smoothly and a rather awkward battery cap.  The nozzle bears much similarity to the Pro2, which is chunky and firmly smooth.  There’s a single button which turns at the lowest setting, each press scrolling upwards trough the 11 power settings, before scrolling back down again. The button lights up white in use, and inside the nozzle is a green backlight so you can just about see how the toy works.   The main problem we have this one is that the button isn’t positioned in the most intuitive of places, making holding it slightly (but not massively) uncomfortable. It’s not a problem, since to be frank, you’ll never need to use a Satisfyer for a long period of time, such is their efficacy.

The Satisfyer 2 is also powered by two AAA batteries, is a whole lot larger, and a heck of a lot noisier than the 1.  The larger shape means it’s much easier to hold, and the golf-clubesque shape really does lend itself to furrowing between the labia to find the clit. By far the best feature of the 2 though, is the +/- buttons.  The 2 is the only one of the Satisfyers to feature 3 buttons, and the ability to scroll back through the settings is a really useful one given the intensity of the sensations produced by the Satisfyers.  The nozzle here is more recessed into the toy and isn’t as voluptuous as the 1, giving a more rigid connection with the clit.

The Satisfyer Pro2 is the reigning champ, having been tried and tested previously.  It is the most ergonomic, being easy to hold and with intuitive button placing, however, now having tried the others, it is bloody noisy!  I said in the original review that it is quieter in use, since the contact with the body but along with the 2, the pro2 is significantly noisier than the rest.  All of the Satsfyer Pro toys are rechargeable, via a reliable magnetic connection which also makes the Pro toys waterproof.  Despite the noise, we still love the Satisfyer Pro2, it is quick and effective.

Quick and effective is not something that we have found with the other Pro toys though. The Satisfyer Pro Penguin is the quirky one of the bunch, featuring a 45-degree (ish) angle on the nozzle, whereas all the others are perpendicular to the handle.  The Penguin also features a square nozzle, the only one to do so.  The whole toy is rather bijou and I fancy perhaps more quirk-oriented than results-oriented.  This at least is our experience.  The nozzle offers less surface area for contact than the others, and is the only one of the bunch to feature both the dual control button and it be situated on the same side as the nozzle, M just couldn’t get comfortable using this one.

The dual control button is a single button covering two pressable areas – one for on/off and one for power.

So that leaves us with the Satisfyer Pro Deluxe, which sounds like it should be the creme-de-la-creme.  It certainly has a premium feel to it, and it looks pretty, I think(?).  Since it is Pro, it is rechargeable & waterproof, it also features the same 11 intensities as all Satisfyers.  It is fundamentally different to the other ones though.  Firstly, all the others are the same basic shape; the aforementioned golf club, the Pro Deluxe is more pebble shaped. It’s comfortable enough to hold, and makes the positioning of the button – which is the same as the 1 – more intuitive.  It also has the flattest nozzle, barely rising from the pebble itself.  It may look streamlined, but for M, whose clit likes to play hide and go-seek, it didn’t work terribly well.

Which satisfyer is best – the stats.

I have had great delight in preparing the table below of key informatics for your delectation.

rank of 1 is most, rank of 5 is least

Which satisfyer is best – the results.

Young love dies hard, and so the Satisfyer Pro2 will always be a winner.  Taking us by surprise though is the Satisfyer 2.  It’s not often a battery powered toy wins favour us toy snobs, but the Satisfyers are different; the 2 has M orgasm in a matter of seconds; a sloppy wet & squirty type of loss of body control orgasm, and then on to writing and shaking and jelly legs.  The best thing of all is that you don’t even need to go that high in the settings to achieve these results.  Whilst this is our choice, hopefully my table of stats will help you decide which satisfyer is best for you.

winner!

  1. These really sound interesting, but the table is confusing to read–does a noise ranking of 1 mean it’s the noisiest or the quietist?

    • The noisiest is the satisfyer 2, which was the one we preferred. So rank of 1 is most noise and 5 is least.
Thanks for your feedback, I’ll try and rework the table to make it easier to read.

  2. Very informative. I found the comparisons to be very helpful, especially how easy they were to hold given my arthritis.
