Dolphin Vibrator – Paloqueth couples toy review

Baby shark, do do de do do.  Well not quite, but I couldn’t resist – sorry.  The Paloqueth Dolphin Vibrator is the subject of this review on submissives.com.

This is one of those “couple’s toys”, the primary intention of which is to use during penis-in-vagina sex.  M and I have never ever ever had success with one of these toys, so is the Dolphin Vibrator any different?

Included in the box is the Dolphin, a remote control and a USB cable. The charges magnetically, with a fairly robust connection, strong enough to support the weight of the toy should you lift it by cable.

Once charged, the toy is turned on by a long press of the button on the Dolphin, the same button scrolls through 9 modes – 3 constant speeds and 6 patterns.  Alternatively you can use the thumb-sized control unit.  The control unit won’t turn the toy on, and the toy won’t turn on the control unit, but once both are on they communicate well, offering instantaneous responses to presses of buttons.

The Dolphin Vibrator is made from a super sleek silicone, which means it is entirely body safe, we’ve found it attracts a smidgeon of dust, but that’s to be expected for such material, it is a shame there’s no storage bag include.  But at the incredible price this toy is available for, you can’t expect everything.

So drumroll time, as a couple vibrator, did it work for us?

Sadly, as with many of the other toys of this design it did not.  I’m convinced that these toys are just not compatible with the bodies M and I have.  Now with this one, the internal part is quite rounded, and actually takes up quite bit of room internally, which is a double edged sword really.  On the good side it means that when my penis is alongside it, in Ms vagina, there’s a lot of sensation for her.  However it also means that it wants to pop out at every opportunity, as there’s not a lot of room for both penis and toy.

Another thing is that we have found it sucks up lube, so actually to make it comfortable you need a chunk of slippy stuff, and that just kind of exacerbates the issue of it popping out.

Clearly the solution here is to hold in it place, which is OK I spose, but not something I’m a fan of doing.

Right, with my “it doesn’t work for us” talk out the way, lets look objectively at the toy.

There are two motors, one in each arm, and they do seem to provide vibrations near to the contact edge of the toy, rather than lost in the middle somewhere.  Those vibes though aren’t the greatest, the 3 intensity levels, which is where our interest lie, are probably 2 intensities short of what we would need.  But then again this is tricky, whilst M would welcome more power, more power for M would mean very short usage period!

I also must let you know that the internal arm really is quite short, it is decent for a spot of stimulation, and the small protrusion definitely adds sensation.  However, for M, it doesn’t reach the G-spot.

Then on the outside you have this huge mound of a dolphin, I’m entirely sure why it’s as bulbous as it is, maybe to make it easier for body-to-body contact to push it into the clit?  Not convinced to be honest.  Anyway, all it does is broaden the area of the vibrations – which is good if that’s what you’re after.  For us, it is not.

Ummm, so yeah, sorry Paloqueth, we’ve kinda liked your other toys but this one isn’t for us.

I’m going to offer some small redemption now.  There’s a little info slip that comes with the Dolphin Vibrator suggesting non-couple based uses, such as a nipple vibe (whuuut? – unless your nipples are actually 2 inches long and as strong as steel), and a cock masturbation aid or anal toy.  Some of these uses hold real water, especially the cock masturbator, but y’know, you wouldn’t buy this toy for that purpose, it’s an added bonus right.

And the real big point on this is just how cheap it is, it’s a small outlay for you to try this type of toy, and there’s an awful lot to like about affordability.
