Tantus Tsunami Premium Silicone Vibrating Dildo

tantus tsunami

The Tantus Tsunami is the first vibrating toy we’ve tried from Tantus, with the exception of the Tantus Rumble.  We’ve found their dildos but really rather good, so when Tantus agreed to send us one for review, we were super excited.

Whilst sub’s stereo is lying unloved and almost forgotten, music is still hugely influential in my life, and so I find myself singing tsunami tsunami came washing over me, can’t speak, can’t think, won’t talk, won’t walk.   Let’s hope that the Manics were being prophetic with this particular one.

The Tantus Tsunami arrives like most Tantus toys; in a white frame box with the toy on display in plastic housing.  The toys are usually well secured in the box – I can rarely remove them in my excited haste without destroying the box, and the Tantus Tsunami was no exception.

The Tantus Tsunami is made from Tantus’ premium silicone – this one is purple, it’s a bit of a dust magnet but has a lovely iridescence to it.

What drew us to the Tantus Tsunami is the ridges.  The more we experiment with textures and materials, one thing is becoming abundantly clear, and that is that M loves texture.  M found the Tantus Curve a little too subtle, but the Tsunami offers some well-defined ridges – 3 of them in fact.

Oh man! I’m almost forgetting that this comes with a wee Tantus bullet – it’s that that makes it into a vibrator you see, but in all honesty, we want the ridges.

The Tantus Tsunami is firm but flexible, and has a slight curve to it. There is a hole in the base where the bullet sits, which does give a little more squish at the bottom, when the bullet is not in place, but actually the structure of the dildo is largely unaffected by this void.  It measures almost but not quite 7 inches long and 4.5 inches around, with the biggest ridge measuring 5.25 inches around.   It has a flat base suitable for use with a harness.

The Tantus Tsunami does suffer from a little silicone drag, so would recommend a decent water based lube to use with it.  But once you’ve got your lube sorted, you’re good to go.

The tip of the Tsunami is blunt and rounded and is its narrowest point; it makes for easy initial penetration.  I’ll never tire of the fascination of watching a dildo or vibrator slide into M’s vagina, watching and gauging her response.  The hopes were high for this, so I paid extra attention as the Tsunami made its way deeper inside her.  The first ridge entered her to little reaction.  I continued to push it forward, watching as the second larger ridge made its way between her labia.

The second and third ridges, being nearer the base are what the Tantus Tsunami is all about.  They make penetration wonderful, since they stimulate both the labia and the vaginal opening as they enter and withdraw.  I must say, it’s sexy to watch as well – I love seeing the labia stretching against the stimulation.

We have found that M likes this type of long thrust with the Tantus Tsunami earlier on in the session, a slow withdrawal followed by a more meaningful, thrustier re-entry.  It really doesn’t take long to have her wanting something a bit faster and harder.

That’s when the Tantus Tsunami reveals its trump card.  Once those ridges are inside you, they stimulate the first few inches of the vagina; and for M that is possibly her most sensitive area.  Short, hard thrusts are in order here, get those ridges rubbing the area beneath the g-spot.  Since I’ve mentioned the G -spot, it is worth mentioning that we have found that the curve of the Tantus Tsunami isn’t quite right for M, in that respect.  It does the job of stimulating the inner wall of the vagina during those initial long thrusts, but it’s not half as good as the ridges.

It doesn’t take long, for the Tsunami to take M from wanton to orgasmic, the waves of pleasure crashing over her evident by the gasps, arched back and the gush of bodily fluid.  Little clitoral stimulation required, which is novel.   It does indeed seem like the manics were onto something.

those ridges…

As for the vibrations, they don’t add much for us.  You can undoubtedly feel them, but they don’t add a lot of value for us power queens.  The bullet features a range of patterns and 2 constant speed settings, low and high, and the high is decent, but the silicone just dampens the vibes too much for our liking.  The bullet fits in the void in the base of the Tantus Tsunami with a very snug fit, and is difficult but not impossible to move.  It’s also very easy to accidentally hit the button during use.  Some might like it, but for us, it makes no difference.

I am so glad that Tantus sent us the Tsunami for review, it has quickly become our favourite dildo.  The orgasms it gives M are deep, multiple and hugely satisfying for both of us.
